Albert Prince had discovered on his tenth birthday that he was more than a normal boy from Earth, that he had been kidnapped as an infant to save him from the clutches of his father, an evil king in a far off realm. He learned that he had new-found powers of teleportation between realms and that he had the unique ability to transform himself into a full size lion. Albert learns his destiny is to use these abilities for good, and someday to overthrow his father, bringing justice to his native kingdom. Meanwhile Albert's mother, the good Queen Nara is held for ransom by the mysterious Realm Pirates. Albert and his friend, the Beast Master, use every trick they know to try to save his mother, but Albert's brother, Karter, had also joined the pirates.
